The 6/5/4mm hooded Solu wetsuit from Nyord combines warmth, fit, and flexibility. Made with Yulex®’s latest natural rubber foam (Yulex 2.0), recycled linings, and Supersilk taped seams, it delivers cold-water performance you can rely on, while using materials that are better for the planet.
We’ve also added waterproof stretch seam tape to the entire lower half of the suit to further increase warmth and durability.
In the hooded Solu model, we’ve expanded the coverage of the plush high-pile lining, which now runs the full length of the arms and throughout the torso. This lining traps warmth, retains heat during long sessions on colder days, and offers a fast drying time, helping you go from session to session with ease.
We’ve balanced the added insulation with strategically placed panels, keeping key paddle zones flexible while using thicker panels in areas where warmth is essential. - Glideskin Neck - Glideskin is a very stretchy and comfortable type of neoprene. It sits snugly against the skin to prevent flushing. Also a great benefit to avoid hair snagging!
- GBS Seams - Panel edges are glued together and stitched on the inside. The material is only partially perforated, resulting in a watertight and flexible seam.
- Anti-slip Ankle & Wrist Cuffs - Anti-slip cuffs stay put for a more comfortable fit and create a watertight seal to prevent flushing.
