The Pro Sensor Elite® Automatic Inflator replaces the Pro Sensor® Automatic Inflator which is currently found on automatic Crewsaver lifejackets - including; ErgoFit+, ErgoFit, Crewfit 180N Pro/ HD/HF, Crewfit 150N Junior, Seacrewader 290N 3D, Crewfit XD (non-wipe clean) range arriving August 2019.
Features:
- Being 13mm shorter and 4 grams lighter than the original Pro Sensor® Automatic Inflator the Elite Inflator range also benefits from a more rounded design and improved manual lever retention.
- The Pro Sensor Elite® Automatic Inflator provides additional improvement on the standard MK5 Automatic Inflator, affording the user one point of status indication to confirm that the unit has been automatically or manually activated. The unit also provides the added benefit of detecting if the Co² cylinder has been pierced, eradicating the possibility of accidentally fitting an empty gas cylinder. As with the UML MK5 Inflator the great benefit of this inflation system is the functionality of the automatic override which under normal operating conditions activate within 3 seconds of the system being submerged in water.
- The automatic capsule contains a powerful spring which is compressed and retained in place using a paper element. Once the paper element becomes wet, it releases the spring which pushes a plunger forward enabling a cutter to pierce the Co² gas cylinder. The Co² gas from the cylinder instantly passes through the inflator head, inflating the lifejacket.

- O insuflador automático Pro Sensor Elite® oferece melhorias adicionais em relação ao insuflador automático MK5 padrão, proporcionando ao utilizador um ponto de indicação do estado para confirmar que a unidade foi activada automática ou manualmente. A unidade também oferece a vantagem adicional de detetar se a botija de Co² foi perfurada, eliminando a possibilidade de instalar acidentalmente uma botija de gás vazia. Tal como acontece com o insuflador UML MK5, a grande vantagem deste sistema de insuflação é a funcionalidade da ativação automática que, em condições normais de funcionamento, é activada no espaço de 3 segundos após a submersão do sistema na água.
- A cápsula automática contém uma mola potente que é comprimida e mantida no lugar através de um elemento de papel. Quando o elemento de papel fica molhado, liberta a mola que empurra um êmbolo para a frente, permitindo que um cortador perfure a botija de gás Co². O gás Co² da botija passa instantaneamente através da cabeça de insuflação, insuflando o colete salva-vidas.
